DON’T SHAVE WHILE WE ARE CLOSED! Waxing slows down and reduces hair growth. Hair also grows much thinner, making it easier to remove and less painful when waxed. Shaving just one time in between will negate all that is gained from waxing and can further irritate follicles which can cause ingrown hair and back to prickly hair growth.DON’T PICK UP A WAX STRIP WITHOUT READING THIS FIRST... The safest is option is to go full-bush and let it all grow out then make an appointment as soon as we say we are open.but if you can't deal with not being bare down there, we've got some tips on home-waxing.HOW TO DO AN AT-HOME WAX1. When using any waxing product, it’s important to sanitise the area prior. This will remove any perspiration and bacteria and give a clean base for the product to adhere too without causing irritation. 2. If you're using a strip wax product, a small amount of talc can be applied as a barrier. Strip wax does adhere quite firmly to the skin, so only go over the area once as repeating the step could remove parts of the skin. 3. If you're using a hard-wax product please follow the recommended advice from the supplier, it will either be an oil or talc base, again to protect the skin. Hard wax does not stick to the skin it only adheres to the hair; you can wax over the same area twice so long as a small amount of the barrier product is used again. Hard wax is better for sensitive areas such as underarm and bikini as its terminal hair which is coarser than vellus hair found on your arms and legs.4. When applying the wax, apply it in the direction of hair growth and remove against the direction of hair growth to give best results and ensure the bulb of your hair is removed from the root.5. For the best technique ensure that you hold and stretch the skin whilst removing the wax strip to prevent erythema (redness) on the epidermis. An aftercare product can and should be used to close and clean the pores.While at home waxing might not be ideal, there are a lot of reasons why waxing is the hair removal treatment of choice for many of us.Message Madison if you would like any advice or help on waxing.

How to remove your Eye Lash Extenions;What you will need..Lash remover - if haven’t ( oil) Cotton buds Wet cotton wool Step by step... Step 1- close one eye and with a cotton bud apply the remover/oil to the top of the eyelid at the base of the extensions.Step 2- leave on for 5 minutes (oil 10minutes)Step 3- with a cotton bud gently wipe the lash extensions and they will slowly start to fall off. If there are any stubborn ones apply more lash remover and repeat until all off.Step 4- repeat on the other eye. Step 5- once all lashes are removed quickly wipe over with your wet cotton wool. Soaking off Gel nails... 💅A step by step guide to help while you are at home. If you have someone at home then this will help to reduce the time but if not it is still possible just may take a little longer. What you will need . A course nail file. Cotton pad cut into small pieces. Tin foil cut into little squares.Acetone (or nail varnish remover with acetone). A cuticle Stick. Nail buffer Added extra; clear varnish We offer gel remover packs at £12.00,If you would like one of these sets please message me and I can take payment over the phone and deliver to your door. * acetone * Nail file * Nail buffer * X2 cuticle sticks * Cuticle oil(I will add in extra - cotton wool & foil) Procedure how to remove your nails. 1. Scratch the surface of the gel with the nail file to remove the shine and break the seal2. Dip the cotton wool generously into the acetone, place on the nail and wrap tightly in the foil square3. Leave for 10-15 mins. 4. Remove foil and cotton wool one nail at a time (if you remove all foils at once the gel will start to re-set. 5. Scrape away gel making sure it is coming off with ease. If it isn't re wrap for a couple of minutes.6. Buff nails gently to smooth, file. 7. Use cuticle oil daily for strength and nourishment to the nails.Madison xxx
